About The Position

The purpose of the Food and Beverage Team is to enhance CCV’s ability to be a destination point for the unchurched, promote fellowship for attendees, and to support the staff in growing their ministries in the aspects of making people feel comfortable while on our campus. A Food Service Team Pastor will facilitate the function of the overall mission of CCV within the Guest Services Department of CCV including holidays, weekdays, and weekends.

  • Minimum 6 months food industry experience required
  • Food Handler’s Card is necessary
  • High School diploma/equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of kitchen processes is a strong asset
  • Catering Experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and oversee volunteers are a high priority as they are essential to Guest Services.
  • Operate the outdoor grill according to CCV operating procedures.
  • Train and monitor volunteers to keep with CCV operating standards.
  • Continual training of volunteers with proper techniques and in conjunction with Maricopa County Health regulations.
  • Operating the POS systems and handling money.
  • Make deposits
  • Equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Maintain the appearance of the grill and its cleanliness.
  • Supporting other ministry activities as needed for church events and programming
  • Ensure that the Commitment to Excellence and Create the Plus are consistent with CCV Core Values.
