About The Position
Food Service Manager needed for school food service in the Newton, NJ area. This is a full-time, day shift position, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. The role offers summers off.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable working in a fast pace team environment.
- Able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.

Responsibilities
- Managing the operation on a daily basis.
- Food preparation, cooking a variety of foods, following recipes, portion control, production standards according to the NSLP guidelines.
- Placing orders, inventory, assist in marketing promotions.
- Assist workers with cash collection, follow recording keeping procedures.
- Ensure all personal protection equipment is in use at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen at all times.
- Secure food service workers, and substitutes.
