About The Position

The Food Service Manager leads staff and supports the smooth, efficient operation of a high-volume restaurant and fresh kitchen. The role focuses on exceptional customer service, effective processes, and strategies that improve sales and customer satisfaction. The manager works with the facility’s General Manager and team members to maintain food safety, manage operations and inventory, develop staff, and improve the dining experience.

Requirements

At least 3 years of restaurant management experience.
At least 3 years managing operations with annual sales volume of $1 million or more.
At least 3 years affecting and deciphering budgets and profit and loss statements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to frequently lift or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Ensure the kitchen is safe, clean, and well-maintained, and follow proper food safety procedures.
Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
Assist the facility General Manager with task execution and completion, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, talent acquisition and development, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
Coach and develop team members in preparing and packaging customer orders promptly and meeting customer service expectations.
Understand financial reports, including profit and loss statements, and use them to make business changes and capitalize on opportunities.
Address customer feedback and work to improve the overall dining experience.
