The Food Service Lead Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food for all food service areas, including patient meals, catering, and retail operations, while maintaining safe and sanitary standards. This role supports the Culinary Supervisor and department manager by coordinating the activities of cooks and food service staff. In addition, the Lead Cook assists with retail menu planning, recipe development, and catered event coordination, while also providing coaching and training to Food Service Cooks.
