About The Position

University Housing is looking for individuals to join our Dining and Culinary Services dishwasher team! We're seeking an enthusiastic team member to help create a safe, clean, and welcoming dining environment for students, staff, and guests. As a Food Service Dishwasher in University Housing, you will operate dishwashing equipment, maintain sanitation standards, organize inventory, and assist with training student staff. Requirements

6 months of dishwashing or cleaning experience in a professional setting

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures
1+ years of dishwashing experience in a high volume institutional professional kitchen setting

Responsibilities

Provides customer service, including food serving, to internal and external customers
Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas to ensure adherence to safe food quality, handling, and sanitation processes and procedures
Assists student employees and provides training as needed
Operates a dishwashing station and associated equipment
Moves and maintains equipment and furniture for dining events
Shelves and organizes (stockroom, warehouse) inventory
