About The Position

The Food Service Director I plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of food service operations within a retail trade environment across the United States. They will also manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships to optimize operational performance and profitability. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service management, preferably within the retail trade industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and operations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Analytical skills are essential for interpreting operational data and financial reports to make informed decisions that enhance efficiency and profitability.

  • Proficiency with technology, including inventory and point-of-sale systems, supports streamlined operations and accurate reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) or equivalent certification.
