About The Position

Metz Culinary Management is seeking an experienced Food Service Director/GM with a solid background in an institutional multi-outlet setting such as a College, School, Hospital, or similar setting that includes Cafe', Retail, Coffee Shop, and very strong Catering experience. Experience in a college setting is a very strong plus. This position is a prominent opportunity in a busy commercial kitchen and café operations setting and requires a polished and professional identity and winning attitude from a Director with experience leading a team in all operations. The Food Service Director/GM has overall responsibility for food service. He/She institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; oversees the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results. The General Manager reports to Client Administration and The District Manager.

Requirements

• 3+ Plus Years in a Food Service Manager role (front and back)
• Knowledgeable in Retail Sales and POS systems
• Catering Management Experience
• Impeccable Communication Skills
• Restaurant Management knowledge
• Thorough knowledge of Menu implementation with stunning presentation ideas
• Team Building with strong Recruiting and Retention Program
• Technology Savvy

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a college setting is a very strong plus
• Hospitality Degree a strong plus
