About The Position

The Food Service Dining Orderly performs food service and housekeeping duties in support of dining facility operations. Work includes cleaning and sanitizing dish-room items and facility work areas, removing garbage, maintaining dining-room furniture and front-of-house equipment, and keeping food, beverage, and other consumable supplies stocked and rotated. The role may also involve assisting with deliveries and escorting local nationals who support dining facility operations. Employees must hold an active Secret clearance and be able to meet the physical and environmental demands of the assignment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of related experience; relevant professional experience commensurate with the assignment may also be considered.
Basic knowledge and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and their practical application to ordinary problems and situations.
Active Secret security clearance.
Ability to bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in varying extreme temperatures, from very hot in summer to very cold in winter; working outdoors may be required at times.

Responsibilities

Wash, rinse, and sanitize pots, pans, dishes, glassware, bakeware, utensils, and cutting boards in the dish room or pot area.
Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and dining-facility workspaces, including the kitchen, storerooms, and public restrooms.
Remove garbage generated by the dining facility.
Clean and sanitize all front-of-house equipment.
Keep dining-room tables and chairs clean.
Escort local nationals working in support of dining facility operations.
Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries when required.
Keep consumables stocked throughout the dining facility.
Keep beverage, dessert, and soup stations fully stocked.
Stock and rotate beverage coolers and shelves.
Promptly inform the Site Lead of issues involving equipment, stock, or supplies.
