As a Tier II child development center, YWCA Mel Wolf is much more than a daycare. Mel Wolf is dedicated to child development, education, and emotional growth. Instructors engage children with high-quality and age-appropriate activities; multiple educational toys and equipment; a stimulating curriculum custom-tailored to each child’s development and interests; plus nutritious meals and snacks. Services are provided to infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children year-round. The YWCA Mel Wolf Child Development Center, which is available to anyone regardless of their socio-economic status, offers childcare and education that’s secure, diverse, and stimulating. The Food Service Coordinator works closely with Mel Wolf staff and children under the direction of the Program and Assistant Directors. They are responsible for all operations for the center’s food service program. They will provide the supervision, planning, and preparation of all nutritional meals and snacks served to the children and staff while maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the kitchen and cafeteria with the assistance of the kitchen aide.
