About The Position

We are currently seeking a Food Service Cook for Washington High School for the 26-27 School Year. This position is about 7 hours per day 6:45am - 2:15pm. The starting pay range for this position is $15.00/hr - $18.12/hr, depending on experience. This is a benefit eligible position. Requirements

Regular and reliable attendance as it aligns to the scope of this position.
Minimal student supervisory duties required.
Adhere to the policies and regulations of the Board of Education.
Maintain appropriate certification and competencies necessary for the position.
Complete required training annually.
Demonstrate the values of the District at all times.

Nice To Haves

Experience with large scale food preparation preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve meals and snacks to students safely utilizing kitchen tools and equipment.
Clean and sanitize cooking and serving areas.
Set-up and break-down serving lines and/or manage the efficient flow of students in order to obtain and pay for their food.
Operate the operating system utilized for meal purchases.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures as directed.
Other duties as assigned.
Regular and reliable attendance as it aligns to the scope of this position.
Additional duties necessary for special events, or to assist in an emergency situation.
Assist with occasional work such annual inventories and/or larger cleaning projects.
Occasional or sporadic duties such as participating on an interview committee, covering a duty of a colleague, etc.
Participate in professional development activities and/or training.
