This role supports restaurant prep (BOH and line) for daily operation, meets daily quick service, food service, safety and quality, availability, merchandising and guest service standards, and ensures proper food quantities are set for daily and ongoing service. The Food Service Cook also participates in safety logs including food temperatures, rotation and waste as necessary, and ensures safe food handling is maintained. They must ensure proper uniform, hygiene, hand-washing and glove use with self, and maintain a SSAfe work environment by abiding to all SSAFETY rules. Following through on daily prep and items lists as assigned, actively supporting operations in the assigned role, and supporting holes as necessary are key functions. The role requires actively and efficiently responding to guest and client feedback, reporting to the supervisor to ensure that any potential complaints are mitigated against further occurrence. Communication with the Restaurant Supervisor and/or Food Operations Manager regarding any issues seen with daily service or quality is essential. The cook remains knowledgeable of all menu items, prices and specials for sharing with guests and assists with dishwashing as necessary. Performing other tasks as deemed necessary and maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment are also required. Upholding and demonstrating a complete understanding of company policies and procedures is expected.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-35lbs) as necessary to operation, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
• 1-2 years food preparation
