About The Position

A Food Service Clerk is responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standard, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards. Food Service Clerks will be responsible for working in all three facets of food service; Deli, Juice Bar and Kitchen.

  • Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.).

  • Ensuring that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
  • Maintaining an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions and advertisements.
  • Assisting in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
  • Assisting in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock; ensuring unwanted merchandise is returned to shelf promptly.
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
  • Communicating openly, respectfully, and honestly with all others in the organization.
  • Reporting to work for scheduled shifts, on-time and appropriately uniformed.
  • Communicating customer requests to management.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.
  • Responsible for health, quality and safety standards and protocols of all food service staff.
