About The Position

Jungle Jim’s is hiring Food Service Clerks for its Deli, Bakery, or Cheese Shop, with part-time and full-time positions available. Requirements

• Knowledge of perishables, product rotation, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and climb for up to 8–10 consecutive hours.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interaction with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as the schedule may require.
• Ability to work for extended periods in a refrigerated environment, as daily duties may include this.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude.
• Engage with customers and help them feel welcome and excited about the products and services.
• Fulfill customer orders and requests in a timely, efficient, and cheerful manner.
• Safely and correctly operate equipment, including slicers, mixers, and ovens.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain product displays.
• Build and dismantle product displays as required.
• Check in deliveries and inspect them for quality, completeness, and document accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
