The Food Service Associate is responsible for patient meal and food service to ensure patient satisfaction. Patients may range from infancy through late adulthood. This role involves interacting with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. The associate will set up and stock assigned stations, retrieve patient meal trays, maintain floor stock, handle food according to sanitary and safety guidelines, prepare food using recipes, comply with CDC hand hygiene guidelines, prepare and serve beverages and food items, store leftovers appropriately, package and label food items, and support cleaning and sanitizing of equipment. The position also includes maintaining proper care and safe storage of food, equipment, and the surrounding area, and completing daily and special cleaning assignments to provide a sanitary and safe environment. Other duties as assigned.
