About The Position
MaineGeneral Health is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Food & Nutrition team at Gray Birch in Augusta. This is a hands-on evening role where your work directly supports residents every day. No food service experience? That’s okay. If you show up, work hard, and have a good attitude, we will train you.

- Restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Warehouse or other physical work experience
Responsibilities
- Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients/residents, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services
- Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including cashiering, waiting tables, tray line delivery, and catering special events
- Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and procedures
- Assists with sanitation duties, including dishwashing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
- Follows food safety and safety guidelines at all times
- Works as part of a team to keep meals moving on time
