About The Position

Kirby Medical Center is seeking a Food Service Associate for its fast-paced Food Service team in Monticello, Illinois. The Cold Food Prep position serves patient, visitor, and staff food service needs, with a primary focus on preparing fresh food for the Apple a Day Café, special events, and the patient room service menu. The associate also supports the wider food service team and contributes to a team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous food service experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (listed as preferred, though the posting also says required).
• Current Illinois Food Protection Manager’s Certificate.
• Previous upscale catering experience, including knowledge of quality food preparation and service.

Responsibilities
