About The Position
Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full Time Food Service Associate to work at Newport House located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Newport House has 24 skilled nursing/rehabilitation and 72 long-term care suites. We are looking for someone to work 6am-2:30pm with every other weekend required and evening shifts as needed. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
Requirements
- Previous food service experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher.
- Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register.
- Maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.
