About The Position

The Food Service Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with deliveries. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, and the associate will work in various temperature conditions.

Ability to follow all food safety/sanitation guidelines.
Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
Ability to lift objects properly up to 50lbs.
Ability to work in multiple different temperatures during the day.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
Set up food service, kitchen, prep stations, and equipment for the business day.
Prepare or assist in the preparation of hot and cold food items.
Ensure proper utensils, napkins, and condiments are available to customers.
Check food temperatures before serving, following all food safety guidelines.
Check cold case temperatures frequently.
Visually inspect all products for quality or out-of-date labels and remove from selling floor as needed.
Take orders and serve food items to customers following specific requests.
Clean, wash, and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, pots, pans, service ware, utensils, and equipment.
Collect and place garbage/compost in designated containers.
May provide guidance and training to other employees.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management immediately.
Assist in receiving deliveries and putting loads away in an orderly manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
