Food Service Associate - DAngelos - Seasonal Flex
About The Position
One of Global Partner’s subsidiaries, D’Angelos, a chain of sandwich shops located throughout New England serving various kinds of hot and cold subs, wraps and salads, is looking for a Food Service Associate (FSA). Requirements
- Wear required store uniform
- Available weekend, evening shifts and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M., sexual harassment)
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion
- Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
- Be able to freely access all areas of the store
- Move quickly around store
- Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives
Responsibilities
- Making each guest know they matter by greeting them energetically and with sincere hospitality upon arrival.
- Ensuring each guest gets exactly what they want by politely listening, suggesting items, repeating back their order and being knowledgeable of the menu and the ordering system.
- Processing orders efficiently while bringing a natural, friendly personality to the forefront to make each guest feel special.
- Handling credit cards, rewards cards and cash with focus and precision.
- Preparing and presenting food according to company specifications.
- Using all equipment, resources and tools needed to prepare product.
- Practicing food safety knowledge.
- Keeping a safe and sanitary work station.
- Making delicious meals each time.
- Ensuring each order is made exactly the way the guest has requested and nothing is served that does not meet high standards.
