About The Position

This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a food service setting. Key duties include preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and involves various tasks related to food service operations.

Requirements

Ability to follow all food safety/sanitation guidelines.
Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
Ability to lift objects properly up to 50lbs.
Ability to work in multiple different temperatures during the day.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
Set up food service, kitchen, prep stations, and equipment for the business day.
Prepare hot and cold food items.
Ensure proper utensils, napkins, and condiments are available to customers.
Check food temperatures before serving, following all food safety guidelines.
Check cold case temperatures frequently.
Visually inspect all products for quality or out-of-date labels and remove them from the selling floor.
Take orders and serve food items to customers according to their specific requests.
Clean, wash, and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, pots, pans, service ware, utensils, and equipment.
Collect and place garbage/compost in designated containers.
Provide guidance and training to other employees performing related work (may be required).
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management immediately.
Assist in receiving deliveries and putting loads away in an orderly manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
