The position also requires maintaining a sanitary work area, preparing and storing food according to HACCP guidelines, practicing good hygiene, and utilizing FIFO principles. Additionally, the role involves taking and recording food temperatures, checking sanitizer levels, and using two patient identifiers when delivering trays. Safety is paramount, requiring safe equipment operation, adherence to cleaning guidelines, and following MSDS for chemical usage. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers, handling service recovery, and distributing messages.
