PT Evening & Weekend Food Service Associate
About The Position
Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Food Service Associate to work at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites. The schedule for this position is some weekday evenings 3:45pm-7:30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am-2:30pm or 3:45pm-7:30pm, including holidays, for a total of approximately 16 hours/week. Flexibility to work either of those two shifts is required. The duties of this position require candidates be at least 18 years old. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service associate/dietary aide experience in a health care setting preferred.
- For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Working independently as a lead within the dining room services during daytime shifts.
- Prepares tables for meals, refilling containers, clearing dishes, handling food safely, attending to residents’ needs, taking phone orders, and ensuring other servers are completing tasks in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Facilitates a pleasant dining experience for the residents and guests who dine at the community.
