About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide to work at Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Newport House has 24 skilled nursing/rehabilitation and 72 long-term care suites. This is considered a full-time position with an average of 28 hours/week or more. The schedule for this position is: Monday 12:00pm-6:30pm, Tuesday 12:00pm- 6:30pm, Thursday 7:00am-12:30pm, Friday 7:00am-12:30pm, Saturday 6:00am-10:30am. Holiday availability is required if normally scheduled to work. Minimum age of 18 years old is required to be considered for this role. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Requirements

• Previous food service associate/dietary aide experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher.
• Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register.
• Maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.
