About The Position
Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position (40 hours per week) in our Dietary Department for a Food Service Assistant. Requirements
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Good math skills.
- Some computer knowledge.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Background check is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Food Service experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Assembling patient menus, trays, and delivering meals to patients.
- Reading and following recipes and doing basic kitchen prep work.
- Visiting with patients about meal options and delivering and setting up meal trays.
