About The Position
This is a temporary position located at 517 Fleming Drive, Morganton, NC 28655 - Burke County. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Requirements
- Education and/or experience in food service that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade.
Responsibilities
- Assist higher-level personnel in preparation of food
- Perform accurate portioning and serving of food as well as maintaining high sanitation standards in their assigned work areas
- Assistant to higher level food service personnel in areas of cooking, baking, meat cutting, or in clean-up operations
- Adhere to sanitation standards and complete assignments
- Possess knowledge of preparation, cooking, and baking procedures
