This is a part-time, evening position with scheduled weekly hours of 16. The Food Service Assistant is responsible for various duties including monitoring and recording proper food temperatures, setting up and maintaining a clean serving area, preparing and serving food, restocking food areas, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and processing payments using a computerized register. The role requires compliance with HACCP guidelines, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining quality control standards. The position may involve operating various kitchen equipment and requires an understanding of food safety and sanitation. The ability to stand and walk for extended periods is necessary.
