About The Position
Join Pilgrim Place, a welcoming senior living community in Claremont, CA, where respect, kindness, and teamwork guide all that we do. We’re looking for a dependable and compassionate Food Service Aide to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide personal care and support that helps residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. This position requires full open availability, including weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on operational needs.
Requirements
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and make sound judgments
- Reliable attendance and ability to complete assigned work shifts
Nice To Haves
- One year of food service and production experience
Responsibilities
- Prepares assigned food items, including vegetables, fruit, salads, and meal setup.
- Supports meal service, dining room preparation, and cleanup after meals.
- Follows proper cleaning, laundry, and sanitation procedures in all work areas.
- Organizes, stores, and rotates supplies while maintaining food safety standards.
- Assists with special events, safety practices, and other assigned kitchen duties.
