About The Position
As a food service aide, you will perform a variety of services in the kitchen and cafeteria. You will be an integral part of every step of the process: preparing food, taking meal orders for patients, and assisting in clean up. This role is full-time and involves a rotating schedule of either 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The compensation for this position ranges from $17.50 to $23.55 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous healthcare food service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services and dish room services.
- Be an integral part of the food preparations, serving of the prepared food to patients, families, staff and visitors and assisting in clean up.
- Be timely and efficient when preparing food.
- Provide high quality food preparation and service.
- Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work.
- Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
- Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.
