About The Position
Select Specialty Hospital Pensacola is a 52-bed facility that combines a critical illness recovery hospital and an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Our critical illness recovery hospital is committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. This PRN/Per Diem position involves covering shifts as needed, weekdays and weekends, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The role offers an extensive orientation program, opportunities for advancement, and benefits that support financial, work/life, and emotional well-being. Part-time/Per Diem positions are eligible for 401k based on reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year. Requirements
- Previous food service related experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous healthcare food service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services and dish room services.
- Be an integral part of the food preparations, serving of the prepared food to patients, families, staff and visitors and assisting in clean up.
- Be timely and efficient when preparing food.
- Provide high quality food preparation and service.
- Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work.
- Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
- Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.
