Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid WA state Food handler’s card
• At least 6 months experience as a delivery driver (any type)
• Some knowledge of the area of service
• Ability to comprehend local maps and directions
• Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
• Experience in developing positive relationships and handling customers’ needs
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures and transportation laws
• Valid driver license and qualify as a PHS Approved Driver
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Must be able to effectively multi-task
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Must be able to accurately follow and scale recipes
• Must have excellent knife skills
• Must understand food service terminology
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years’ experience in food service account management or restaurant management
• Culinary school experience

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries to Central Food Services customers
• Assisting the cooks with food preparation
• Following all food safety guidelines and procedures while preparing and delivering meals
• Filling customer orders to 100% through proper measurements, portion control, product labeling and staging methods
• Representing CFS in a positive manner while ensuring that CFS customers are receiving the highest level of customer service
