Food Server - Ondori (OC)
About The Position
Boyd Gaming Corporation is a leading casino entertainment company in the United States. We are seeking a Food Server to join our team at Ondori (OC). In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and serving food and beverage orders to guests, potentially collecting payments and making change. You will greet and communicate with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, process orders using a computerized guest check system, and deliver prepared orders from the kitchen. This position requires carrying and balancing trays or pushing carts of food and beverages, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room. You will also present checks to guests and collect payments or deliver them to the cashier.
Requirements
- Six (6) months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
- Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Utilize computer system for placing food and beverage orders and processing payments.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
Responsibilities
- Receive and serve food and beverage orders from guests.
- Collect payment and make change for guest checks.
- Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Receive and process food and beverage orders from guests utilizing a computerized guest check system.
- Retrieve prepared orders from the kitchen area and deliver to guests.
- Carry and balance trays and/or push cart of food and beverages through the kitchen and dining room (approximately 20 to 30 pounds).
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the dining room.
- Present check to guest.
- Collects payment and/or deliver to cashier.
