About The Position

This position is for a Food Server who is expected to provide a high level of enjoyment and hospitality to guests. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The server will also be responsible for bussing tables, handling payments, and requesting feedback. Secondary responsibilities include maintaining workstations, stocking condiments, assisting with table resets, and potentially helping with greeter duties. Requirements

Must be able to smile, make guests smile, and provide a high level of hospitality to guests.
Acknowledge guests and escort them to seats.
Requires continuous standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Must be able to frequently reach for, lift, and carry trays weighing up to 24 lbs.
Must be able to bend and squat on occasion.
Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation with both hands.
Must have good verbal communication skills.
Usually requires at least six months of previous food service experience and knowledge of dining room procedures.
Must display a neat, clean, and attractive personal appearance.
Must display a pleasant, outgoing, and energetic personality and project a positive attitude.
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Smile, make guests smile, and provide a high level of enjoyment to guests.
Acknowledge guests and escort them to seats.
Greet guests.
Inform guests of specials and soups.
Retrieve high chairs and booster seats.
Take food and beverage orders from customers.
Record orders and close out completed checks with POS system.
Garnish plates.
Deliver food and beverages using a tray.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Suggestively sell desserts, etc.
Sell alcoholic beverages (where applicable).
Bus tables.
Provide bills to guests and settle payments via cash or credit card transaction.
Request feedback from guests.
Make appropriate accommodations.
Clean and stock workstations.
Refill condiments.
Assist with cleaning and resetting of tables.
Portion salads.
Use cash register when necessary.
Assist with Greeter duties on an as needed basis.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
