About The Position

The Bonfire Food Server is responsible for providing a high standard of guest service in an efficient, courteous and professional manner. This role involves providing food and beverage service in a fast-paced, steakhouse style restaurant. The server must remain knowledgeable on all food and beverage offerings, including wine selection and pairing options, and review daily changes to the menu and specials. Key duties include greeting guests, taking drink and food orders accurately, entering them into the POS system, and delivering orders while ensuring accuracy and quality. The server will continuously monitor guest needs, bus tables, and prepare them for turnover, while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and lounge area. Completing assigned side duties to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and safeguarding casino assets are also crucial. Adherence to the F&B department's health and personal hygiene policy is required, along with performing other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.
Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
Must have an OLCC Permit at the time of hire.
Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

Provides food and beverage service in a faced-paced, steakhouse style restaurant.
Remains knowledgeable on all food and beverage offerings, including wine selection and pairing options reviewing daily changes to the menu and specials.
Greets guests, taking drink and food orders in a timely manner, accurately entering orders into the POS system.
Delivers guest’s orders, ensuring accuracy and quality of product being served.
Monitors guest needs on a continual basis.
Busses tables throughout guests dining experience and prepares tables for turnover.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of restaurant and lounge area.
Completes side duties as assigned, ensuring all areas are prepped and ready for the next shift.
Safeguards Three Rivers Casino assets and balances assigned bank accurately.
Closely follows the F&B department health and personal hygiene policy.
