About The Position

We are seeking a professional Food Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Food Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied. Your role is essential to maintaining our restaurant's reputation for outstanding service and hospitality.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of food service or server experience in a full-service restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests and team members
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and move throughout the restaurant
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and seat them at designated tables in a timely manner
  • Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings
  • Take accurate food and drink orders while addressing any dietary restrictions or special requests
  • Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and bar staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, following proper serving techniques and presentation standards
  • Monitor table conditions throughout the meal and refill beverages, clear plates, and provide additional items as needed
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns or complaints professionally
  • Process payments accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash and card transactions securely
  • Maintain a clean and organized station, including tables, chairs, and service areas
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and management staff to support smooth restaurant operations
  • Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue
