About The Position

The Oliver's Chophouse and Bourbon Bar Food Server is responsible for ensuring that all guests are provided a memorable dining experience. Each team member ensures that the outlet is clean, organized and the restaurant is ready on time for every day to ensure that every guest is well taken care of in a fine dining environment.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Nice To Haves

Fine dining experience, preferably in a high-volume casino steakhouse is preferred.
Knowledge of wines, alcohol and basic food knowledge is preferred.
6 months prior work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for taking orders from patrons and returning orders in a timely manner.
Ensures dining area is clean and orderly at all times.
Responsible to perform “responsible alcohol service” with regards to patron limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training, if needed.
Guest banking all dining room checks.
Cleans and polishes tableware of spots, and pre-busses.
Delivers and dispenses items ordered by guests, serves beverages, food and non-food items.
Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
Uses Point of Sale equipment to enter orders for kitchen personnel.
Uses equipment such as coffee brewers, iced tea makers, and juice, soda, and milk dispensers.
Must bus tables in a timely manner to accommodate new business
Must work with communication devices such as telephones and policy systems.
Maintains confidentiality and security of relevant information.
