About The Position

This role is responsible for performing a variety of sanitation and food service tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and well-stocked dining and kitchen environment. The specialist will handle cleaning duties in dining areas, dishwashing, line serving, kitchen maintenance, and outdoor area upkeep, all while adhering to company policies and specific performance work statements.

Requirements

Understanding of minimum temperatures for wash, rinse, and sanitation water for pots and pans.
Knowledge of required minimum temperature of mechanical washing equipment.
Understanding of proper drying and racking techniques for complete drying of wares.
Ability to maintain sanitation requirements for pots and pans washing area, storage racks, shelving, and utensil storage.
Ability to maintain outdoor areas including back dock, stairs, customer entrances, waste cans, bussing carts, and portable holding units.
Ability to arrange outside storage items in a safe, clean, and presentable manner.
Professional conduct in accordance with WSC policy.

Responsibilities

Perform all sanitation tasks.
Clean dining rooms, including tables, chairs, removing trays, restocking condiments, and maintaining floors.
Perform dishwashing duties, including setup, tear down, unloading, pre-scraping, stacking, and ensuring cleanliness and proper racking of dishes.
Serve on the serving line, performing temperature checks, ensuring cleanliness, replenishing products, and maintaining serving line standards.
Restock fruits, salads, milks, juices, and other items before and during meal periods.
Maintain the kitchen area, including trash removal, sweeping/mopping, and deep cleaning equipment.
Perform pot and pan washing duties, understanding temperature requirements and proper drying techniques.
Maintain sanitation requirements for the pots and pans washing area, storage racks, shelving, and utensil storage.
Maintain outdoor areas, including the back dock, stairs, customer entrances, waste cans, bussing carts, and portable holding units, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
Conduct professional conduct in accordance with WSC policy.
Perform other job-related duties as required by the on-duty supervisor.
