The Food Runner position at an outdoor restaurant involves serving and replenishing food items, maintaining food service and cleanliness, and handling guest transactions with efficient register operations. This role reports directly to the Restaurant Manager and is responsible for ensuring a warm welcome to guests, maintaining sanitation, assisting with deliveries, stocking condiments and utensils, and knowing the menu, preparation methods, and pricing. The Food Runner must also be proficient in operating all line equipment and maintaining the appearance of the patio area, including opening and closing umbrellas and securing the Food Pavilion.
