Founded by industry veteran James Julius (Annabel’s, Major Food Group) Harbour Club Miami is poised to become a premier destination for luxury dining and refined experiences. With three distinct outlets, our establishment will offer unparalleled service and an elegant atmosphere. Harbour Club, a Japanese restaurant, and Palm Room, a speakeasy-style lounge, will be exclusive to our esteemed members, while our upscale Mediterranean concept, a'Riva, will welcome all guests to enjoy its exceptional offerings. We are seeking talented and dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and contribute to the success of this exciting new venture. Join our team as a Food Runner at Harbour Club Miami where you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to our members and guests’ tables. Requirements
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must be clear, confident and hospitable when calling-back to Expo and explaining dishes tableside.
- Must remember table and seat numbers to appropriately drop each dish.
- Passion for food, beverage, and delivering outstanding hospitality experiences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, lift/carry heavy items and traverse stairs repetitively
Nice To Haves
- Experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality is a plus
Responsibilities
- Bring dishes from the kitchen to the correct person at the correct table in the dining room.
- Graciously and confidently explain the dishes to members and guests.
- Clearly and effectively communicate and call-back with the Chef(s)/Expo
- Assist service team with needs on the floor, and culinary team with needs in the kitchen
- Assist with special requests and accommodate member and guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas
- Assist in preparing for special events and private functions as needed
- Uphold Harbour Club's standards of service, professionalism, and hospitality at all times
