Requirements

  • Prior Food Runner Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well-groomed manner.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with guests and staff.
  • Ability to comprehend recipes and menus.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
  • SNHD Health Card

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and place food and non-food products delivered from warehouse in designated areas in the kitchen, label food products as needed.
  • Pick up food ordered on a daily bases from Garde Manger, Main Kitchen, Butcher Shop,
  • Maintain the highest level of kitchen cleanliness and organization, following Health Department rules and regulations.(product rotation, labeling, monitoring temperature logs from freezer and coolers)
  • Follows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.
  • Operates and sanitizes all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • Must provide courteous and friendly service to all customers and staff.
  • Performs related work as requested.
