About The Position
The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders to guests in a full-service restaurant, ensuring proper presentation of food items by seat position according to the ticket. This role involves carrying food orders on a tray, expediting the kitchen line in the absence of the Expo, and providing excellent service to guests while maintaining restaurant service standards. The Food Runner also ensures a smooth and efficient operation by communicating effectively with the kitchen staff to guarantee correct order fulfillment and uphold the quality and accuracy of every order. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Some experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
