Sortinos Italian Kitchen Food Runner
About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food Runner for our Sortino’s Italian Kitchen Restaurant. In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. You will actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily. As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.
Requirements
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to lift and balance trays and busser tubs frequently.
- Must be able to work and be flexible with all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
- Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.
