About The Position

Responsible for clearing and resetting tables in assigned venue. Continuously monitor tables to assess guests' needs in a courteous manner. Responsible for clearing all tables and resetting them for new seating in accordance with venue standards. Ensures each table is ready for guests' arrival in accordance with venue standards. Responsible for approaching newly seated guests, serving bread, butter, water, etc., in a timely and pleasant manner working with servers to expedite service at all tables. Performs service duties for servers by picking up their orders when ready in the kitchen and delivering them. Monitors tables to assess guests' needs; anticipate and respond to guest requests when meal has been completed, keeping table clear to provide a clean, neat, eating area. Restocks and cleans assigned station at end of shift to have ready for start of next shift in accordance with Department of Health standards. Attendance at pre-shift meetings. Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record. Participates as a team member with all servers, venue hosts, supervisors, and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation. Declares tips through time and attendance system at the end of each shift. Other customer service duties required as requested by restaurant supervisor in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules.
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).
