About The Position

The Food Runner position is part of the Food & Beverage Department. This role involves delivering food orders to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally, ensuring correct temperature and presentation. The Food Runner will also communicate with kitchen staff and servers to maintain a smooth service flow, assist servers with tasks like clearing plates and refilling beverages, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of service areas. This role requires following food safety guidelines and performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced dining environment a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during high-volume service periods.
• Ability to carry trays and deliver food safely and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30–40 lbs. for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally.
• Ensure dishes are delivered at the correct temperature and presentation.
• Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to maintain smooth service flow.
• Assist servers by clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, service stations, and dining areas.
• Help prepare garnishes, sauces, or condiments for service when needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with opening, running, and closing side duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
