About The Position

Willow & Ivy is seeking a full-time Food Runner/Support who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with a team, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. This role is essential to the flow of dining operations, acting as the link between the kitchen and guests to ensure dishes are delivered promptly, accurately, and beautifully. The Food Runner will support servers, maintain the pace of service, and help uphold the high standards of The Lenox, which is home to three distinct restaurant outlets and banquet/meeting space: Sweeney’s on Boylston, The Irving at The Lenox, and Willow & Ivy.

Requirements

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable carrying trays and navigating a busy dining room
Ability to work flexible hours including days, weekends, and holidays
Candidates with availability to work Brunch on Sunday, and Breakfast Monday-Thursday are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or food service preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
Ensure dishes are presented according to restaurant standards
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service
Assist in clearing, resetting, and maintaining clean dining areas
Support the service team with side work and setup/breakdown tasks
Anticipate guest needs and respond with professionalism and warmth
Maintain a polished, guest-focused demeanor at all times
