About The Position

Liberty on the Lake is seeking a Food Runner/Busser to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth, fast, and friendly service by acting as a liaison between the kitchen and dining room. The Food Runner/Busser will be responsible for delivering dishes quickly and accurately, keeping tables tidy, and supporting the service team to ensure guests have an enjoyable experience. As part of the Homegrown Hospitality Group, the successful candidate will be part of a team that emphasizes consistency, teamwork, and genuine hospitality.

• Able to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays for extended periods

• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Experience as a food runner or busser is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver food promptly and accurately to the correct tables
• Double‑check orders for accuracy before leaving the kitchen
• Present dishes and answer basic menu questions when trained
• Keep the expo line, service stations, and dining room organized
• Pre‑bus and fully bus tables, clearing plates, glassware, and debris
• Reset tables quickly and neatly for the next guests
• Support servers and fellow bussers to maintain smooth service flow
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance
• Take on additional tasks as needed
