About The Position

We’re hiring a large team of dependable individuals to join a local fast-paced Food Production team! This is a great entry-level opportunity no experience needed, just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. This is a temporary labor position with the potential for ongoing work based on performance and production needs. You’ll be helping to prepare, package, and process food products in a clean, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

Refrigerated environment will be wet and cold with temperatures ranging from 25-110 degrees Farenheight
Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements
Repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with items 20+ lbs.
Walking and standing for long periods of time
Applicants must have reliable transportation, as the job location is not accessible by public transit
Eligibility for employment is subject to verification of authorization to work in the U.S in accordance with federal laws

Nice To Haves

Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus
Production demands often require overtime and weekend scheduling
English/Spanish Bilingual is a plus
Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Supervise daily production activities to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Implement and monitor sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Check for correct packaging boxes and containers
Ensure product date and weight are within established guidelines
Examine containers, materials, and products to ensue packaging meet company specifications.
Removing defective products or packages from the production line.
Assembling product containers on an assembly line
Transporting Pallets from the packaging line to the distribution center.
Delivering empty pallets to the production line
Wrap & load pallets
Team members may be asked to assist in other areas of production as needed
