About The Position
LaborMax Staffing is hiring Food Production Workers for a cold food manufacturing facility in the Kansas City area. The role involves working on a production line, preparing and assembling chicken products, and adhering to strict food safety and sanitation procedures. This position requires comfort working in a cold environment and performing repetitive tasks.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable working in a 35 degree environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Able to work with raw food products
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must be background eligible
- Must be drug-free and able to pass a drug screening
- Must follow all company food safety and hygiene requirements
Nice To Haves
- Previous food production experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Trim and prepare chicken breasts for production
- Assemble chicken kabobs on skewers to production requirements
- Work efficiently on a production line
- Follow food safety, sanitation and quality-control procedures
- Wear required protective clothing and PPE
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Follow instructions from supervisors and production leads
- Work cooperatively with other team members
- Perform other food production duties as assigned
