About The Position

The Fresh Market is opening a new store in Pittsburgh, PA, and is seeking a Food Production Specialist. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about production and comfortable with early shifts. The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, a team player, and prioritize guest satisfaction. The position involves handling production for key departments including Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Produce, maintaining product knowledge, ensuring product quality through rotation and sanitation, adhering to company standards, and presenting professionally.

• Willingness to work a schedule of 3 am – 11 am with days off typically being Sunday and Wednesday of each week
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Handle production for key items to support Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Produce departments
• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items throughout the store and work across departments to assist guests in finding products and complete meal solutions
• Ensure excellent product is ready for our guests by inspecting our store products for proper rotation, cleaning, sanitation procedures, completing reports as necessary
• Follow all The Fresh Market standards, policies, and protocols
• Present self in a professional manner, including adhering to uniform standards
