Food Production & Packaging Associate
About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Food Production & Packaging Associate to help prepare, assemble, and package fresh food items in a production environment adhering to FDA regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in producing quality food, maintaining high food safety, food handling and sanitation standards, and working as part of a supportive team. With a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, you'll enjoy a regular workweek and valuable personal time outside of work. Food Production Associate is responsible for assembling and package fresh food products according to health and safety guidelines. The role of a food assembler involves following build sheets, portioning ingredients, assembling, and ensuring food products meet quality standards. Food Production Associate requires the ability to understand and meet standards of health, safety, and food policy. Maintain a clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements. Abides by sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of work areas. Professionalism, dependability, and a positive attitude are essential, along with a commitment to quality, consistency, and food safety. Flexibility in the Food Production position is key; able to adapt and to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Able to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to understand and meet standards of health, safety, and food policy.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak Basic English to perform essential duties of the position and the ability to communicate with co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service or food handling experience preferred.
