About The Position

Capitol Kitchen is looking for a simple, flexible part-time Food Production Associate to join their team. This role involves assembling snack cups on an assembly line on Fridays in a fun, team-oriented environment. It's an opportunity to supplement income, stay busy, or pick up extra hours. The position requires operating production equipment, stuffing snack cups, fulfilling customer orders, and contributing to a safe work environment. Associates are expected to maintain high standards of food quality and safety, perform process improvement, inspect and label finished products, and rotate job assignments. The role involves frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching, and may involve working with allergens, loud noises, chemical exposure, and in a warm environment. Requirements

• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Experience with food manufacturing.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to identify and analyze problems and plan solutions.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills to provide a positive work environment.
• Ability to prepare and produce snack cup products to standards.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders on an assembly line making snack cups.
• Operate production equipment.
• Stuff snack cups and fulfill customer orders.

• Produce snack cups and fulfill orders.
• Inspect and label finished product.
• Rotate job assignments throughout the production process.
• Recognize safety or quality problems.
• Keep work area and machines clean always.
• Adjust machine settings and quality system checks.
• Perform all duties in an efficient manner.
